Betcha by golly wow. . .

There's a spark of magic in your eyes
Candyland appears each time you smile
Never thought that fairytales came true
But they come true, when I'm near you
You're a genie in disguise
Full of wonder and surprise and

That opening melody played by the oboe is beautiful.  It slowly rises before it takes us tumbling down again.  The lead vocal starts off the lyrics and the tone complements the oboe timbre.  Have you lost yourself in somebody's eyes before?  There might be times where people have noticed your magic in your eyes and you haven't even noticed it yourself.  How do we know what magic looks like yet we can recognise it in others?  Maybe it has something to do with how they make us feel when we look into their eyes, or maybe they reflect how they feel about us too?

Betcha by golly wow
You're the one that I've been waiting forever
And ever will my love for you keep growin' strong
Keep growin' strong

Have you found someone that you felt like you've been waiting for?  When people talk about love and how they choose to share and express it with others, it might not happen or come easily until you find yourself in a space with someone who helps to unlock that dialogue of a conversation you've only ever had with yourself.  Love may grow when you only want to spend more time with that person, want to spend more time being with someone who makes you feel good about yourself. and that's a natural thing.  Why would you want to spend time with people who make you feel bad about yourself?  That's some warped kind of abuse if you're keen on that type of self inflicted pain.

If I could I'd catch a falling star
To shine on you so I'll know where you are
Order rainbows in your favourite shade
To show I love you, thinking of you
Write your name across the sky
Anything you ask I'll try cause

When you love somebody, you will most likely scream it from the rooftops and not having any qualms letting the world know about your feelings.  Probably one of my favourite movie scenes has to be Eddie Murphy in Coming to America after his date with Lisa McDowell whilst walking back to his apartment sings To be loved by Jackie Wilson.  I love this scene because he has no ego about him whatsoever, he's in love and has just finished spending time with the woman of his dreams.  Of course the profanity at the end of the scene is funny too but that's because his character Hakeem is a clueless prince from Africa, Samunda to be precise, and he is in Queens to sow his royal oats before committing to marriage.

I hope that you find your own love, that it will be what you always dreamed it would be (maybe even better).  Even if you think can't find your love right now, it's always important to have faith to trust that someone will be lead to you, guided to you when you least expect it.  I hope that one day soon you will experience your very own moment, your very own betcha by golly wow. . .
